Automation Personnel Services is Hiring a Machine Operator Near Smyrna, GA
Pay Rate
$16.31 per hour for 2nd shift
$16.31 per hour with $2.00 shift differential for 3rd shift.
Schedule and Hours
2nd shift, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
3rd shift, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
Machine Operators Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate manual and semiautomatic machines.
- Performs quality control inspections using custom measuring equipment and making visual checks to assure compliance with specifications. Examines parts for surface defects and damage.
- Immediately report errors in production and performance.
- Utilize hand tools, such as files and de-burring tools to achieve set specifications.
- Experience is preferred, but willing to train the right the associate.
- Interest in firearms.
- Experience with hand tools.
- Organized and able to meet deadlines.
- Pay close attention to details.
- Will be working as part of a team and independently.
- Understand and practice safety policies and procedures.
- Drug screening and background checks are required.
